Our Group:

In your role as Building Maintenance Domain Leader you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair operations of office floors at Applied Materials in Rehovot. This role ensures that the building's infrastructure, systems, and facilities are well-maintained, safe, and operational. The Maintenance Domain Leader will lead the maintenance domain and coordinate activities with external contractors as needed. This is Full-time position with occasional on-call duties for emergencies.

Whatyou'll be doing:

  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all building floors systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety.
  • Plan and oversee routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Lead the team to achieve maintenance KPI.
  • Inspect the building regularly for safety hazards and structural defects.
  • Coordinate with building owner and vendors for repair and maintenance works.
  • Supervise maintenance staff and ensure they perform their duties effectively.
  • Manage the budget for maintenance operations.
  • Maintain records of all maintenance and repair work done on the property.
  • Implement preventive maintenance measures to avoid major repairs and expenses.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency situations.
  • Safety Spare's parts management involves purchasing and verifying stock based on minimum and maximum thresholds.
  • Assure all required procedures in place & updated.
  • Lead Task priority on daily base.

What should you have?

  • Bachelor’s degree or experienced practice in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum of4years of experience in building maintenance management.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in a commercial building setting.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage budgets and negotiate contracts.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
