Job Summary
As an UHNW Banker, Executive Director within the Taiwan Market team at JP Morgan, you will manage and support all facets of client relationships across the team. Your responsibilities will include handling and coordinating with various teams on account inquiries and investment-related aspects, as well as delivering strategic messages to your portfolio. In collaboration with other team members, you will strive to provide high-quality client service and ensure adherence to all regulatory and internal policies.


Job Responsibilities

  1. Focus on ultra-high-net-worth (Principal Business) individuals and families, as well as institutions for our Taiwan market coverage team.
  2. Manage all aspects of client relationship, develop and maintain long-term relationships through strong personal networks and contacts.
  3. Articulate and deliver strategic messages to their portfolio, prepare presentations and proposals, and take both solicited and unsolicited orders in all asset classes. Update clients regularly on markets, portfolio performance, investments opportunities, risks.
  4. Build portfolio of clients using resources and expertise of JPMorgan’s platforms, products, services, and networks.
  5. Partner with the client including (but not limited to) updating Know Your Client (KYC) information, client suitability profile, hosting client meetings, monitoring funds/asset transfer and handling client ad-hoc queries.
  6. Understand each client’s wealth objects and investment requirements, and work in close partnership with Investors in proposing, delivering, and executing solutions for clients; as well as in identifying new business opportunities.
  7. Oversee private client relationships by providing strategic advice based on each client’s wealth objectives. Provide access to specialists and manage clients’ investment portfolios.
  8. Keeping track of Clients, Assets Under Management (AUM) and Revenues using our internal systems; periodic calculation of account performance.
  9. Work together with other teams in meeting all compliance, regulatory, risk management, operational, and due diligence requirements and compliance with internal policies.

Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline
  2. Minimum 10 years’ experience in wealth management space, along with strong client and stakeholder management skills is required.
  3. Extensive experience and proven track record in acquisition success for Taiwan market, and well-versed across all asset classes and investment products.
  4. Strong knowledge of Wealth Management business in Taiwan with deep understanding on Compliance, Risk and Regulatory frameworks.
  5. Fluent written and spoken Business Mandarin is essential to support Chinese speaking clients from Taiwan.
  6. As the role is an important contributor to the strategy of JP Morgan, comfort and experience working with and reporting to senior management is required.
  7. Experience in managing relationships both with clients and internal partners across multiple countries and regions to drive our sales agenda.
  8. Dynamic team player who is self-motivated and possesses strong interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to proactively engage multiple stakeholders at all levels of seniority to drive our sales agenda and operate with strong sense of urgency.
  9. Candidates must have a willingness to travel frequently.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities

  1. Appropriate local regulatory qualification and licenses preferred.
  2. If you do not possess an existing Representatives Notification Framework (RNF) Register in Singapore, you will be required to sit for Client Advisor Competency Standards (CACS) Paper 1 & 2.
  3. This is in order to gest registered as a Representative with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for the private banking industry.
