Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in software development lifecycle, large scale computing, modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience in software development lifecycle, large scale computing, modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection
    • OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience consuming and analyzing CVE data
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Linux security or demonstrated ability to develop such knowledge
  • Proactively seeks opportunities to learn
  • Ability to distill and explain complex technical and security concepts to different types of audiences
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional security teams
  • Proficient understanding of Linux and/or open-source security principles.
  • Familiarity with Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) and vulnerability management processes.
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities
  • securityvulnerabilities in Linux, including:Triage, analyze, and prioritize Linux Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) and collaborate with the Azure Linux engineers todetermineand deliver theappropriate remediation.
  • Supports operationalsecurityandsecurityincidents as well assecurityreviews and reporting.
  • Contribute to external and internalsecurityguidance for Linuxsecurityvulnerabilities and remediations
  • Exercise and grow subject matterexpertisein Linuxsecurity, up-streamand down-streamsecurityoperationprocesses, andprovide clarity and guidance to others.
  • Develop,monitor, and analyze key performancedatatoidentifyand recommend process improvements and automation.
  • Exercise technical curiosity to collect and analyzesecurity data, partner, and customer feedback, and partner acrosssecuritydisciplines to help addresssecurityissues, patterns, and trends.
