JOB DESCRIPTION

Asa Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering here at Honeywell, you willplay a critical role in shaping the future of our manufacturing operations. Youwill be responsible for overseeing and driving advanced manufacturingstrategies and initiatives. With your strategic vision and expertise, you willcontribute to the growth and success of our organization. You will report directly to our ISC Engineering NPI Sr. Director, providing global leadership to the MechanicalNew Product introduction Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact and improve our design for manufacturingprocesses, drive design for cost activities, new factory innovation, andachieve operational excellence. By optimizing manufacturing processes,implementing cutting-edge technologies, and driving continuous improvementinitiatives, you will enhance productivity, improve product quality, and drivecustomer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for advanced manufacturingengineering initiatives including design for manufacturing and design for costactivities
  • Develop and implement advanced manufacturing strategies to driveinnovation and operational excellence
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to optimize manufacturing processesand enhance productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment withbusiness objectives
  • Identify and implement cutting-edge technologies to drive continuousimprovement and cost efficiencies
  • Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvementand implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Compensation and Benefits:

This position is incentive plan eligible.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accreditedinstitution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering,mathematics
  • Extensive experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and processoptimization
  • Proven track record of driving innovation and operational excellence inmanufacturing operations
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • US Citizenship is required
WE VALUE
  • Advanced Engineering degree such as Manufacturing Engineering, ME(Mechanical Engineering), or related field
  • Desired experience in APQP and Six Sigma tools
