Description
As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will work in a highly multi-functional team that is responsible for shipping Apple Intelligence features. You will collaborate with software engineers, project managers and other multifunctional teams with the goal of delivering high-quality and reliable software. Additionally, you will be responsible for authoring and running test cases on a regular cadence, debugging failures to isolate product vs. test issues, and reporting feature defects.Key responsibilities:Create and maintain internal AppIntents testing tools and apps.Author AppIntents test cases and maintain continuous integration infrastructure.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5 or more years of professional experience in Software Development.
  • Proficient in Swift or Obj-C and multi platform App development.
  • Proven problem solving and debugging skills: analyze and investigate test failure, error, and build issues. Able to properly drive issues to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience including design, implementation, documentation and maintenance of test automation using XCTest with Swift/Obj-C.
  • Apple Connect code signing and provisioning profile management.
  • Framework development.
  • Proficient in one or more scripting languages: Python/Ruby
  • Prior experience or knowledge of machine learning.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
