Description
As a Senior Bluetooth Standards Architect, you will lead Bluetooth system requirements, architecture, and design, working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate key Bluetooth features into our products. You will represent the company in Bluetooth SIG and other standards bodies to advance strategic interests.IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:- Lead Bluetooth SIG initiatives, define technical requirements, and drive internal solutions.- Serve as an SME in the architecture, design and integration phases, overseeing complex feature integrations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high-quality features in our products.
Minimum Qualifications
- In depth understanding of Bluetooth 4.0, 5.0, 6.0 and new key features under development in Bluetooth SIG
- In depth understanding on Bluetooth stack from controller to host through HCI to support current development and future specification development
- In depth understanding of Bluetooth certification testing, requirements and policies
- Experience in defining detailed feature requirements, writing specifications and design documents, and test cases
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience with enabling on-device co-existence between Bluetooth and other wireless technologies
- Drives results as an active contributor in standard organizations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, manage risks, evaluate tradeoffs and maneuver in complex situation to move things forward
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
