We are seeking an Associate for Corporate & Investment Bank Finance to participate in and manage a diverse portfolio of projects, including strategic system replacements, new product launches, branch expansions, and ongoing finance process improvements.

As an Associate Project Manager within the Asia Pacific Finance Project Team focusing on Business Expansion, you will offer the financial viewpoint on various projects and programs. You will serve as a representative for the finance group, working closely with our business operations and technology partners.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute with due diligence in all phases of the project, from initiation through business requirements, testing and implementation ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of end solution to our user base
  • Build and maintain close working relationships with the project staff, regional Finance & Finance Tech teams, our business operations, and technology partners, along with our Finance clients within the business
  • Develop project scope documentation, project plans and project schedules and track progress against them
  • Undertake ongoing dependency, risk and issue analysis and identify mitigating/resolving actions
  • Ensure finance business requirements and target operating models are documented, validated and approved
  • Ensure adequate reviewing, analyzing and testing of business requirements and operating models
  • Ensure all project documentation is updated in the project repository

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in program/project management, finance, business analysis in the financial services industry
  • Good project management skills i.e., end-to-end life cycle, project initiation, project control and governance
  • High level of expertise in the full range of finance functions with some business products and regulation knowledge with strong and proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Logical thought processes, excellent presentation skills and effective interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Structured business analytical skills to deal with unexpected challenge
  • Self-motivated, team player with ability to multi-task and work under pressure

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Previous experience with business expansion projects
  • Relevant Markets product knowledge e.g., Equity, Swap, Futures & Options, FX, Rates and Commodities
  • Proficiency in financial systems and knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools
  • Change management expertise e.g., process improvement, system implementation and branch creation
  • Commitment to continuous learning and motivated for personal growth
  • CPA or equivalent or Project Management Professional (PMP) qualification
