The Senior Software Engineer plays a critical role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the NICE inContact software platform. This position requires a seasoned professional with a proven ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor peers, and drive innovation across multiple tiers of technology. Senior Engineers are responsible for delivering scalable, high-quality solutions, contributing to architectural decisions, and supporting a dynamic, agile team environment
How will you make an impact?
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of complex software systems and features.
- Evaluate and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with business goals.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical growth and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards.
- Quickly and effectively troubleshoot and resolve intricate issues in production and development environments.
- Understand and apply security best practices in coding and deployment
- Drive innovation by researching, recommending, and integrating new technologies and practices.
- Collaborate with product management, UX, and architects to define deliverables.
- Drive Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and automation improvements.
Have you got what it takes?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience building web applications/services
- 5+ years of experience with C#, Angular
- Passion for learning and mentoring
- Comfortable working in an agile/scrum environment
- Comfortable working with cloud infrastructure
- Strong English communication skill
- Advanced knowledge of software development best practices, including design patterns, unit testing, and agile methodologies.
- Solid understanding of scalable architectures, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work on multiple concurrent projects.
