Reporting to the Production Manager, the Continuity Tester will be responsible for testing electrical systems and equipment to detect faulty wiring.
: 3:30pm-12:15am
What a typical day looks like:
Inspects wiring of assemblies for accuracy of stripping, soldering, and crimping; look for frayed wires and loose connections
Examines assemblies and wiring of components for completeness of assembly, quality, and conformance tospecifications
Tests wiring for relay and control panels to determinecontinuity
Identify any product defects; record and report them accordingly
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Perform other related duties as assigned
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of experience in wiring or testing electrical components OR completion of a technical vocational program
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work accurately
Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety management
Reading comprehension skills with the ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurements
