.Net Support Engineer
As our .Net Support Engineer you’ll be part of an industry leading program of work, whereby you will support and develop web applications that will positively impact the experience of millions of Australians. Working with high-profile clients and programs of work, you will gain exposure to a bespoke design systems, whilst collaborating with exceptional technologists.
Due to the nature of this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and will be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Your key responsibilities
We’re looking for a Technical Support Engineer, required to support web applications and some cloud infrastructure for clients across Australia. This role would suit someone who has had some developer experience and looking to further their career in the software development field as a senior .Net Developer
- Resolve client requests in a timely manner based on agreed delivery dates
- Monitor client requests (Email, ITSM Tickets, Phone calls)
- Conduct investigations into incidents to ensure they are not repeated
- Support Service Delivery Manager’s to create monthly operational reports as required
- Escalate any operational issues needing attention to SDM’s, Senior Staff or the Lead - Application Management Services
- Prepare for client meetings, including review and knowledge of current and backlog tickets
- You will also be involved in incident management, be available for “on call duties” for up to 2 weeks per month.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation and processes of client platforms
- Assist in the preparation of new proposals or pitch decks for prospective clients
Skills and attributes for success
- NET Framework / .NET Core: An understanding of C# and the .NET ecosystem.
- ASP.NET MVC / Web API: Experience building or maintaining web applications and APIs.
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript: Basic front-end skills for CMS template customization.
- SQL Server: Ability to write and understand queries, stored procedures, and database structures.
- CMS Experience: such as Sitecore, Kentico, Sitefinity, Umbraco etc.
- Version Control: Experience with Git and tools like GitHub or Azure DevOps.
- Service Management: ITIL knowledge or Certification, DevOps
