Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a critical Salesforce implementation for a Federal Agency. This project requires expertise in Salesforce GovCloud Plus, an understanding of federal compliance requirements, and experience managing projects within a cleared environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex IT projects, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

1. Project Management:

  • Oversee end-to-end project delivery for the implementation of Salesforce using GovCloud Plus.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Monitor and report project performance using industry-standard KPIs.

2. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the primary liaison between federal agency stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors.
  • Facilitate requirement gathering sessions and ensure alignment with federal compliance standards.
  • Provide regular project updates to executive stakeholders and ensure transparency.

3. Team Leadership:

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team, including Salesforce developers, business analysts, and system integrators.
  • Foster a collaborative and performance-oriented project culture.
  • Manage resource onboarding and ensure all team members meet clearance requirements.

4. Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure adherence to federal compliance regulations, including FedRAMP, FISMA, IL 5/6 and air gapped environments.
  • Implement and enforce security protocols specific to operating in a cleared environment.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of IT project management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing Salesforce implementations, preferably in the federal sector.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce GovCloud Plus.

Technology Expertise:

  • Leverage expertise in Salesforce and its ecosystem to guide design and implementation decisions.
  • Ensure optimal use of Salesforce GovCloud Plus features tailored to federal requirements.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce advancements and their applicability to federal use cases.
Preferred technical and professional experience

Certifications:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder).

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of federal IT compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Clearance:Active Secret/TS/SCI FSP required
