HXCD Communication Designer, Video/Motion Graphics

Communication designers are the clarifying voice, an integrative and ordering force that shapes our work and makes its purpose clear to the world. Communication Design plays a critical role in our dynamic, interdisciplinary teams. Using storytelling, design systems, brand and tone, you will help weave a common thread through the work we do. This position is responsible for developing communication materials and strategies that effectively convey the brand and product message while also communicating customer needs or pain points, research findings, and global trends, to gain stakeholder alignment and buy-in. The video/motion designer is responsible for determining the right media to convey the message and the development of necessary supporting assets. These may include videos, storyboards, digital presentations, infographics, and websites. This role requires proficiency in video design and editing, motion graphics, sound design, typography, graphic and digital design.

What you'll do...
This role requires proficiency in video design and editing, motion graphics, sound design, typography, graphic and digital design.
Use your experience with video/motion graphics, graphic design, visual arts and other media to translate technical information into a cohesive and compelling story
Build or build upon content to help us frame our work and stories
Creates videos, storyboards, digital presentations, infographics, and websites
Conceive, design, develop and test new ways to showcase our work
Stay up to speed on trends to bring real-world inspiration to our work
Revel in the art of detail with a desire to shape the bigger picture
Even better, you may have…
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Motion Graphics or Animation, Entertainment Arts, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience.
Minimum 3 year of work experience with a Master’s degree or 5 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications Design or a related field.
