You will interact with internal teams and external customers to understand their requirements. You will apply your knowledge to propose innovative solutions, create software prototypes, and productize prototypes into production systems using software development tools and methodologies. In addition, you will support and scale your solutions to meet the ever growing demand of customer use. A successful candidate will have an established background in engineering large scale software systems, a strong technical ability, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment.
Key job responsibilities
* Interact with various teams to develop an understanding of security practices and the use of managed controls.
* Apply the acquired knowledge to build automated solutions to find problems, or show the absence of security/safety problems.
* Design and build scalable systems that evolve with the growth of AWS.
* Provide technical leadership and guidance.
* Create software prototypes to verify and validate the devised solutions methodologies; integrate the prototypes into production systems using standard software development tools and methodologies.* Functional thought leader, sought after for key tech decisions. Can successfully present ideas to an executive level decision maker.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Computer Science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, compilers, programming languages

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
