As Associate Cloud Support Engineer, you will be responsible for end-to-end resolution of complex technical issues. You will proactively review and mitigate risk. You will also minimize any potential service disruptions for some of the top companies in APJ.
As a Associate Cloud Support Engineer , you will be responsible for:
- Working unassisted with the customers managing their incidents and escalations to closure
- Collaborating with customers and internal cross-functional teams to identify, diagnose, resolve and report on technical issues
- Contributing to the strategic direction of the support team to develop and implement best practices
- Partnering with internal Sales, Services, Engineering and Support teams to ensure customer success on the Akamai platform
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 6 months -2 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant fields
- Have experience with working on web application issues (HTML, javascript, JSP)
- Be well versed in how the internet works, it's underlying protocols with understanding of DNS, HTTP/S, TCP.
- Have knowledge on technologies in cloud infrastructure eg. cloud compute, object storage, Load balance, Firewall
- Be experienced in providing technical solutions and professional support for B2B customers
- Communicate in fluent English, the role will be required to support English speaking countries in APJ
