o The Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) Admin L3 is responsible for managing and maintaining the OpenShift Container Platform environment. This role includes performing advanced troubleshooting, implementing best practices, and ensuring high availability and performance of the OCP clusters. The he/she will also be involved in designing, deploying, and supporting containerized applications in a hybrid cloud environment.
· Install, configure, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters in various environments.
· Perform routine upgrades, patches, and system enhancements to keep the OCP environments secure and up-to-date.
· Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity of OpenShift clusters.
· Oversee the complete lifecycle of cluster management, including installation, re-installation, configuration, re-configuration, implementation, and integration.
· Monitor the performance and health of clusters, proactively addressing issues as they arise.
· Conduct regular patch management and ensure timely VA/PT closure.
· Provide troubleshooting support and resolve cluster-related issues promptly.
· Manage and track the progress of all project tasks related to OCP implementation and maintenance.
· Work on a 24/7 shift basis to provide continuous support and meet client requirements.
o Support & Troubleshooting:
o Provide L3 support for incidents and problems related to OpenShift.
o Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis.
o Performance & Optimization:
o Monitor and optimize the performance of OCP clusters.
o Conduct capacity planning and scaling of OCP environments.
o Security & Compliance:
o Implement security policies and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
o Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
o Manage access controls and authentication mechanisms.
o Automation & Scripting:
o Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks and deployments.
o Utilize tools like Ansible, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines for automation.
o Ensure infrastructure as code (IaC) practices are followed.
o Documentation & Training:
o Create and maintain detailed documentation of the OCP environment and processes.
o Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and technical workshops.
· Strong experience in managing Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
· In-depth knowledge of cluster installation, configuration, and maintenance.
· Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies in OpenShift environments.
· Familiarity with patch management and vulnerability assessments (VA/PT).
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment, including after-hours support
