Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and lead Key External Expertsand investigatorsengagement plans – identify, develop, and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with experts, key investigators and scientific bodies to facilitate scientific exchange and potential research collaborations
- Represent the company and lead medical & scientific exchanges within the respective community
- Discuss scientific data on Incyte Hematology/ Oncology drugs with all relevant stakeholders and gather and provide to the team insights that are significant to Incyte Hematology/Oncology therapeutics and that may guide present and future strategic choices
- Act as point of contact for unsolicited information requests on company inline products and pipeline.
- Facilitate company sponsored in collaboration with the clinical operations team based in France
- Provide medical/scientific leadership and expertise to internal and external groups. Conduct internal trainings on medically relevant topics
- Identify and nominate experts as potential speakers and ensure they are up to date on new clinical data and findings
- Identifies and communicates key clinical and research issues from industry leaders to appropriate departments to help shape company research, development, marketing plans and strategies
- Represent the company at medical meetings through Medical Affairs’ Scientific Booth coverage and other related activities
- Lead and support advisory board meetings, round table meetings
- Ensure up to date knowledge of the latest relevant research and publications applicable to the Hematology/ Oncology areas of therapeutic research
- Works with Incyte colleagues, both medical, commercial and where relevant market access, in a collaborative manner and in compliance with company SOPs and any other local regulatory/legal guidelines
- Adhere to corporate SOPs and ensure vigilant compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements and guidelines governing scientific interactions with physicians and healthcare professionals across all activities
- Capture and record interactions with HCPs in the relevant Incyte management system

- Contribute positively to a strong culture of business integrity and ethics
Requirements
- French fluencyand very good English language knowledge
- An advanced clinical degree required (e.g. PharmD, PhD, or MD – other doctoral degrees may be considered)
- Experience in the area of Hematology/ Oncology strongly preferred
- Previous experience as MSL or other medical function preferred
- Field experience is a plus
- Must be highly articulate and self-confident during formal and informal presentations; able to convey complex, scientific ideas fluently to any audience
- Flexibility, diplomacy, and ability to manage expectations
- Problem solving and entrepreneurial skills
- Ability to travel frequently (up to 65%) with some overnight stays (e.g. expert visits, internal Incyte meetings, medical meetings and congresses, and training meetings)
