What you’ll do

• Be responsible for supporting the management of Operational reconciliations, identifying risk areas, implementing additional controls and leading implementations
• Serve as a strategic partner with other businesses and strives to facilitate their success
• Support a wide range of internal clients
• Accountable for management of critical reconciliation activities
• Involved in short-to medium-term planning of actions and resources, and exercises control over resources, budget, policy formulation and planning
• Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within reconciliations and operations and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function
• Manage complex and highly variable issues associated with post settlement processes and transaction capture activities with significant potential impact across multiple areas, weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting needs
• Liaise with multiple teams and departments on varying matters
• Heavily engaged in, with an ability to direct, change-the-bank projects, resolves escalated issues and/or offers solutions at an advanced level
• Serve as an analytical and/or procedural expert representing the Global Reconciliation Utility on cross functional processes or project deliverables

What we’ll need from you

• Significant experience, ideally in Banking Operations and Reconciliations
• Individuals are expected to be subject matter experts in reconciliations and Operational Activities
• People Managers are expected to demonstrate exceptional management skills
• Advanced interpersonal resolution skills
