Interprets complex engineering requirements to devise and deliver optimal design solutions for sophisticated medical device components, demonstrating advanced technical expertise and strategic thinking, working under limited supervision.
Guides comprehensive and robust test plans, procedures, and protocols to rigorously validate engineering designs, ensuring stringent compliance with high-quality and regulatory standards.
Resolves advanced and multifaceted technical issues across hardware, software, and other technical components, employing sophisticated problem-solving skills to address and prevent production downtime effectively.
Evaluates and approves high-potential components and technologies from external vendors and suppliers, ensuring they meet Philips' rigorous quality, performance, and strategic standards.
Monitors and critically assesses the performance and reliability of complex systems and components, proactively identifying and leading initiatives to optimize product performance, lifecycle, and user experience.
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor's in areas such as System Architecture, System Design, Hardware Engineering or equivalent OR no prior experience required with Master's Degree.
Your skills include the ability to assess and integrate actionable feedback from rigorous testing, user experience studies, and market trends, continuously refining and enhancing product designs to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, competitive advantage, and market leadership
You have a Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this .
You can cultivate effective relationships with internal/external partners and influence projects and peer groups, demonstrating full understanding of engineering specialization within the medical devices sector.

The pay range for this position in MN is $103,950 to $166,320
