Job Description

The role of Hybrid Cloud Engineer is a specialist role and involve the following roles and responsibilities:

• Architect, deploy, and manage services on one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Should be well-versed with Private Cloud Technologies – Vmware etc.
• Design and architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms.
• Plan and execute cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Assess and evaluate existing on-premises infrastructure for cloud readiness.
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using best practices for performance, security, and cost optimization.
• Automate cloud operations and monitoring to ensure high availability and resilience.
• Manage and maintain Wintel environments, ensuring seamless integration with cloud infrastructure.
• Provide expertise in Windows Server administration and related technologies.
• Design and implement robust storage and backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Optimize storage and backup processes to align with business continuity requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud and on-premises infrastructure issues.
• Administer and support Microsoft infrastructure, including Active Directory, Exchange, and related services.
• Should have hands-on experience on Terraform.
• Should have hands-on experience on design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI ArgoCD, or Azure DevOps.
• Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement and manage security best practices for cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Good communication and verbal skill

Desired Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7-8 years of hands-on experience on Cloud, VMware and Wintel technologies
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Understanding and practical experience with CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).
• Any experience on Python or strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, etc.) will be preferred
• Any Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) will be preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Experience:

• 7 to 8 years

Education:

• B.Tech. / BS in Computer Science

Technical Skills & Certifications:

• Relevant OEM Level Certifications from:
• Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
