About The Role

As a member of the Graphics team, you will help integrate, implement, and develop state of the art GPU cores and will be working closely with the graphics microarchitecture, Synthesis Implementationand physical design teams. You will possess in-depth understanding of ASIC design flow and the challenges posed by advanced deep sub-micron technologies.


What are we looking for?

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

  • 2+ years of relevant GPU experience (either external or internal).

  • Experience in deep submicron process technology nodes is strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of library cells and optimizations, logic design and circuits

  • Solid understanding of Industry standard tools for synthesis, place & route flows, and methodologies

  • Experience with Synthesis, place and route and signoff timing/power analysis.

  • Knowledge of high performance and low power implementation methods

  • Knowledge of GPU microarchitecture is added benefit.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • RTL to GDS2 flow, tools, and methodologies such as synthesis, static timing analysis, formal verification, physical design, and ECO generation/verification

  • Develops high-quality GPU system based on requirements that balance power with performance and meet needs, benchmarks, and industry standards, even when faced with ambiguous information.

  • Implementation and delivery of GPU cores from RTL to GDSII

  • Consults with internal or external users and third-party vendors to guide implementation and ensure alignment with their needs and goals.

  • Demonstrates good understanding of and conducts research on industry trends and innovations in graphics to ensure solutions and deliverables align with best practices.

  • Identify areas for flow and process improvements.

  • Close design timing by running static timing analysis and timing ECO.

  • Signoff Reliability verification methodology such as running IR, EM using Industry Standard Tools.

  • Physical Design verification such as LVS, DRC & DFM etc.,

  • Contributes to conversations to generate new ideas for next generation graphics; provides recommendations for new directions to explore.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
