What you'll do...
The successful candidate will serve as Director of Node Management Systems within Walmart's Supply Chain. This leadership position is accountable for:
- Defining the strategic direction for Node Management Systems by working closely with the business partners.
- Developing and deploying innovative solutions that meet the needs of a large-scale, complex supply chain.
- Ensuring systems are scalable, reliable, and optimized for performance to support a multibillion-dollar business.
- Drives initiatives to build a world-class workforce by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. Ensures a culture of integrity and ethics, fostering an environment where associates are empowered to thrive and contribute to the company's success.
What you'll bring:
- Domain expertise in running largescale systems with high availability. Experience in Retail supply chain is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in running large (40+) engineering organization and managing senior engineering leaders and architects.
- Working knowledge of multiple distributed technologies ( e.g. GCP/Azure, Spark/Storm, Kafka, Key Value Stores, Caching, Solr, Druid, etc.)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience in influencing across functional boundaries.
- Proven ability to hire, mentor and grow top engineering talents.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, and 10+ years of industry experience.
- Biased towards innovation.
- Customer empathy.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: - Stock

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area. Option 2: 8 years’ experience in software engineering or related area. 3 years' supervisory experience.
