BS in EE or related field plus 5 to 7 years of experience in power electronics
Must have hands-on experience of power supply design and demonstrate deep knowledge of offline conversion topologies including Flyback, PFC, resonant converters and analog/digital controls loops
Must be intimately familiar with power supply safety and environmental certifications requirements, power controllers, components, magnetic design, power supply layout and state-of the art techniques for efficiency optimizations including no load/light load efficiency techniques.
Knowledge of control theory and basic embedded systems Strong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to guide critical decisions
Must have excellent communication skills with a strong ability to work effectively across Design, Operations Engineering QA, Reliability teams
Willingness to travel overseas periodically (approximately 10%)
Must be highly motivated, self-starter with a passion for innovation, integrity and attention to details.
MSEE with 5+ years of experience in power electronics
Must demonstrate good understanding of thermals, mechanical and packaging challenges
Must demonstrate knowledge of high-volume manufacturing technologies and production variance
Knowledge of power semiconductors
Prior work experience in computer industry and/or power supply module companies is a plus
Basic experience in embedded programming and debug for control systems
Proven record of working in fast paced innovative work environment
Strong understanding of data center power systems including AC/DC power distribution and server power supplies
