What to Expect

This position is expected to start around January 2025 and continue through the entire Winter term (i.e. through May 2025) or into Summer 2025 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships.

International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

What You’ll Do
  • Writing code and developing scenarios to test coverage of component requirements using hardware and software in the loop testing environments using Python and/or Rust
  • Communicating with developers, mechanical and electrical engineers to proactively identify problems and gaps in test coverage and documentation
  • Creating and updating tests for new features and technology
  • Hands-on validation hardware bring-up, system debugging and test time optimization
  • Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet test time requirements
  • Qualifying each release of vehicle software for deployment to customer vehicles
What You’ll Bring
  • Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field of study with a graduation date between April 2025-December 2026
  • Hands-on Python experience
  • Prior testing experience
  • Experience working in simulation environments, highly preferred
