Job Description:

You will engage and partner with policymakers, regulators, academia and other non-governmental groups in the field, in support of our business. You will contribute to the design and delivery of ongoing campaigns. As part of this, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individual programs and actions. This role requires a deep understanding of the workings and regulatory processes of the European institutions as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

You will plan and drive external advocacy efforts, outreach programs and wider initiatives

You will be accountable for developing the right communication tools to support regulatory / GR activities

You will be able to manage and drive projects and provide clear guidance and recommendations

You will be able to coordinate efficiently, effectively, and cross-functionally, across the business, regionally and globally, to develop, align and implement appropriate positioning and engagement

You will coordinate the overarching presence and represent the company yourself at relevant regional industry associations and wider coalitions

You will monitor and report on relevant legislative and regulatory activities, develop positioning and mitigation/engagement strategies, draft collateral, and coordinate external advocacy efforts, outreach programs, and key initiatives in concert with business objectives.

YOU MUST HAVE:
• Bachelor’s degree in political science, science or a business subject.
• 5 + years’ work experience by preference in a regulated industry such as Chemicals or Pharmaceuticals
• Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to operate across multiple functions
• Familiarity with European Institutional structures, operations and workings
• Strong project management skills ensuring delivery of actions to deadline
• Ability to build impactful industry arguments, based on data and customer examples to support the advocacy and communication plans
• Willingness to travel 15% of the time WE VALUE:
