Job Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the Ireland OG team to deliver effective outsourcing management, control and monitoring processes.
- Ensure continuous update of the Ireland Outsourcing Governance (OG) framework to meet regulatory demands.
- Chair monthly Outsourcing Forum meetings, ensuring effective challenge and discussion of all materials, and recording of clear and concise minutes.
- Report to the relevant legal entities on OG matters, including Boards, the Location Operational Risk and Control Committee, and the Local Management Committee.
- Build positive relationships through timely delivery of OG commitments and effective communication with stakeholders across the 1st, 2ndand 3rdline of defence.
- Externally, engage with regulators and industry associations on OG matters, advocating for simplification, regulatory clarity, and regulatory alignment on outsourcing and third-party management processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors and clients on OG matters.
- Develop a clear strategy for the Ireland OG function and roadmap for implementation.
- Ensure robust controls in maintaining full documentation of the outsourced activities.
- Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all internal and external outsourcing arrangements to regulatory standards.
- Ensure timely escalation of risks to the senior management and relevant risk forums.
- Collaborate with partners in UK, the EEA and other locations to drive synergies in processes and framework.
- Present a clear view of Ireland systemic requirements to the firm-wide CTPO organisation.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills.
- Strong leaderships skills to manage and develop the Ireland OG team.
- Expertise in Ireland’s regulatory framework for outsourcing and third-party management, including the Central Bank of Ireland (Investment Firms) Regulations 2023, the Central Bank Cross-Industry Outsourcing Guidance, the Digital Operational Resiliency Act (DORA), as well as the European Banking Authority guidelines on outsourcing.
- Ability to Chair effectively monthly Ireland Outsourcing Forum meetings to deliver constructive challenge and discussion of agenda items.
- Experience in managing stakeholders, internally and externally, in relationship building.
- Prior experience delivering cross location projects.
- Ability to support regulatory related projects and firmwide objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage and influence across various levels.
- Ability to build and maintain an effective relationship on OG matters with the heads of the Ireland legal entities, and externally with the regulator and industry associations.
- Ability to take ownership, work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Action and outcome driven approach to deliver results within time limits.

- Ability to present at governance forums to multiple stakeholders, including legal entity Boards.
