As a program manager of Product & Supply Chain Partnership Strategy here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for developing and executing the overall strategy for product partnerships to ensure robust end to end supply chain readiness for the Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS) product portfolio. You will play a critical role in identifying and establishing strategic partnerships with external companies to enhance our product and solution offerings and drive business growth. Your expertise in developing strategic relationships with key equipment component suppliers will be instrumental in shaping our product roadmap and expanding our market presence. You will report directly to our BESS Global Program Director and you will work out of our Houston, Texas location. This position requires a hybrid work schedule, with a combination of on-site and remote work. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our Vertical Strategy portfolio. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify partnership opportunities, negotiate agreements, and drive the implementation of continuous improvement programs at our key suppliers. By leveraging your expertise in product management and market analysis, you will ensure that our partnerships align with our business objectives and contribute to our competitive advantage.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the implementation of new product initiatives through robust supply chain and supplier partnership
  • Ensure product supply chain readiness by ensuring diverse supplier options at the right product cost and quality
  • Establish strong partnerships with key suppliers & partners (China, India, Europe, Americas) directly and/or by leveraging local resources to ensure sufficient capacity and technology competitive edge.
  • Ensure Key Strategic Alliances are in place
  • Participate in supplier audits and ensure suppliers have a strong continuous improvement program by utilizing local regional resources for progress tracking. Generate KPI reports to submit to leadership
  • Drive global business initiative to elevate the relationship with key stratgic partners creating value to customer, risk mitigation and fostering innovation; fostering organic growth in the Sustainable technologies and achieve value proposition to Customers

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 8+ years of experience in product and vendor management
  • At least 2+ years of experience in New Product Initiatives to supporting new Energy Solutions such as Battery Energy Storage, Solar and/or Wind
  • Experience design global and regional supply chain strategic alliance and partnership for scaling suppliers across geographies, including supplier investment, capacity agreement, buy-sell strategy, assessment of sub-component manufacturing that ensures capacity, agility and resilience
  • Facilitate demand assessment working with cross functional team that includes Project Operations, Integrated Supply Chain, Engineering and Partners
  • Risk Identification and mitigation plans working with key strategic partners identifying and eliminating single dependencies
  • Proven track record of establishing successful partnerships and strategic Alliances
  • Leading in cost optimization effort, strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape
  • Knowledge Industrial automation, security, network, telecom and system lifecycle services
