Our US GPS digital practice combines an understanding of the public sector’s diverse mission needs with private sector leading practices.

Your key responsibilities:

As a staff supporting digital practice engagements, you will be expected to work effectively as team member, share responsibilities with your peers, provide all necessary support to your peers and leadership, and be able to communicate and update the senior team members on progress made; provide all necessary support to your peers and leadership, and be able to communicate and update team members on progress. In addition, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) support for the entire client office.
  • Provide industry expertise in creating, editing, and updating the IMS for the client and assess schedule health.
  • Work to value-track program schedules that map to leadership-level strategic priorities as well as section, branch, and division-level priorities.
  • Hold/lead regular progress check-ins with leadership reporting on vital TSA program schedules.
  • Present recommendations to address issues or delays in the schedule.
  • Provide support for Quarterly Progress Reviews (QPRs) with client leadership, and program gate reviews.
  • Work in a collaborative environment and successfully manage projects based on changing priorities while maintaining a strong focus on key deliverables.
  • Deliver excellent interpersonal communication, organizational, and scheduling skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.

In addition to your client responsibilities, you will also be expected to fulfil staff-level responsibilities within the firm. EY staff support people-related initiatives, including recruiting events and interview nights. Staff are also expected to support and participate in internal, firm activities, including training programs and courses in order to stay current on training requirements and continuously improve technical skills. Lastly, you will be expected to understand and follow all workplace policies and procedures, including all applicable Independence policies.

Skills and attributes for success

You will ideally have previous exposure to technology consulting, and a keen interest in advising the US government and Public sector. You should have strong communication skills, and business and technology acumen, and have a passion for delivering value to our clients.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance or higher, which will be driven by the engagement requirement.
  • Prior Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) support experience.
  • Experience updating and editing any program plans, Gantt charts, and IMS.
  • Experience coordinating both in-person and virtual meetings to gain updates and track progress toward completing items on the schedule.
  • Experience creating and documenting meeting notes that relate to any changes or updates to the IMS.
  • Creating processes and procedures for updating the IMS.
  • Provide strong attention to detail and apply organizational skills to maintain an effective IMS.
  • Experience or interest in one of the following areas:
    • Emerging Technology – Including but not limited to Blockchain, Robotics Process Automation, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning, etc.
    • Digital / User Experience – Digital Strategy, Digital Marketing, IT Transformations, UX Design, SharePoint, Digital Product & Project Management, Prototyping, User Experience Design, etc.
    • Cloud Technology – Journey-to-Cloud, Cloud Strategy, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Information Architecture, etc.

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $75,800 to $125,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $90,900 to $142,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
