RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake and cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design optimal solutions.
- Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance and efficiency.
- Implement data governance and security best practices.
- Implement data quality checks
- Implement SLA checks and dependencies checks
- Experience with version control systems and deployment processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
- Flexible to work with early evening Berlin time to morning PST timezone.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services (e.g., S3, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Familiarity with agile development practices.
