About the RoleUber Eats is on a mission to make food delivery more accessible and affordable for everyone. As the Head of Affordability, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing strategies to enhance affordability across pricing components like menus, promotions, offers, and fees. This role requires strategic thinking, data-driven insights, and cross-functional leadership to ensure Uber Eats delivers value for consumers, merchants, and couriers alike.
What You Will Do- Develop Affordability Strategies: Lead the creation and implementation of comprehensive affordability initiatives that encompass menu pricing, promotions, and fee structures.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Strategy & Planning teams to align priorities and share best practices at local and global levels.
- Set and Drive Goals: Define key metrics for affordability, establish targets, and ensure alignment across the organization to achieve impactful results.
- Leverage Data: Analyze internal and external data to uncover insights into customer preferences, merchant dynamics, and competitor trends.
- Monitor Market Trends: Stay ahead of industry developments in pricing and affordability to keep Uber Eats competitive and customer-centric.
- Communicate and Advocate: Represent affordability priorities in meetings, updates, and stakeholder communications, ensuring alignment and clarity across teams.
Basic Qualifications:- 7+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, pricing, or program management, preferably in high-growth or tech environments.
- Proven expertise in data analysis with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Strong track record of collaboration and stakeholder management, influencing without authority.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a structured approach to navigating complexity.
- A results-oriented mindset with demonstrated experience executing initiatives in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with pricing or promotions in consumer technology or food delivery industries.
- Proficiency in tools like SQL or advanced analytics platforms.
