As a leader in the Commercial Banking Internal Communications team, you will be responsible for working with key executives and their leadership teams to understand areas of need and build sustainable communications strategies designed to:
Build awareness of, and connection to, the business strategy
Engage and inspire associates
Evolve the way we share our Commercial Banking story
This position requires exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills; experience consulting and providing strategic counsel to senior executives; the ability to lead projects and work with multiple stakeholders or partners to meet objectives; and a proven track record of building trusted relationships and influencing key stakeholders to achieve the best results with associates, clients and the business in mind.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement executive communications strategies that bring our business imperatives to life
Create engaging experiences and creative storytelling – including executive-led meetings (virtual and/or in-person), digital/video assets, presentations and special events
Plan and prepare effective and thoughtful internal communications that engage and inspire leaders and associates – including narratives, key messages and announcements
Serve as a strategic partner to senior executives and their leadership teams
Provide counsel and lead thoughtful change management communications in support of the business
Partner with and influence internal stakeholders in the best interest of the business and associates
Evaluate performance of communications using data and metrics; recommend adjustments to communications strategies, messaging, and channels/forums
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or military experience
At least 6 years of experience in communications
At least 3 years of people leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, english or journalism
7+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
7+ years of experience communicating with executive-level clients
