Our Graduate Development Programme is a structured two-year scheme where we provide the framework, mentoring and experiences to help you maximise your skills and ambitions. About the opportunities

You will have the support of a mentor, our management team and experts who will help guide your progress. You will also be given the opportunity to pursue relevant business and technical training to support your career development, as well as room to grow your network and knowledge base to create innovative solutions.

Here's what you'll need
  • Be working towards a relevant Degree or Master’s level qualification such as Transport Planning, Urban Design, Civil or other Engineering, Geography, Economics, Mathematics/Statistics, Natural Sciences, Operational Research, Data/Computer Science, or Planning.
  • Hold a keen interest in transport planning and/or traffic engineering topics, such as: healthy streets, active travel, mass transit, junction improvement, placemaking, transport policy/strategy, transport modelling/appraisal etc.
  • Be a flexible self-starter who is keen and motivated to drive your career forward.
  • Demonstrate adaptability to change with an appetite for learning new things, such as Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and transport modelling software.
  • Desire to engage with our wider office activities, such as STEM, Employee Networks and BeyondZero.
  • Have the permanent right to work in the UK.
