Senior Associate, Accounting
Responsibilities:

• Assist timely month-end closing and financial reporting processes.

• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations.

• Prepare/present monthly, quarterly and other ad hoc analytics for line of business, Accounting, and Finance leadership.

• Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with business areas and various partner teams.

• Support automation & data transformation efforts to help drive efficiencies, enhanced controls, and/or improved accuracy and quality of deliverables.

• Participate in key corporate projects such as system upgrades, enhancements, or process improvements.

• Ensure accounting practices and documentation procedures are performed in accordance with accounting and governance policies and procedures

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree or Military Experience

• At least 1 year of accounting, finance or audit experience or a combination

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of accounting, finance or audit experience or a combination

• At least 1 year of experience in PeopleSoft General Ledger

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification

• Experience with BI tools (i.e. Tableau or Amazon QuickSight)

McLean, VA: $94,600 - $107,900 for Sr. Associate, Accounting Richmond, VA: $86,000 - $98,200 for Sr. Associate, AccountingThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
