As, you will be responsible for owning and managing data assets throughout the lifecycle of datacenter construction projects. You will ensure the availability, accuracy, and integrity of data required for successful project execution. This role requires a deep understanding of data management principles and project management.


Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 7+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis

    • OR Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 5+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis

    • OR equivalent experience.

Other Qualifications

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
    • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check every two years thereafter.

Additional/Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data management, preferably in a construction or data center environment.
  • Understanding of data governance principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in data architecture, data modeling, and data integration concepts.
  • Knowledge of data regulations, privacy laws, and industry standards.
  • Project management and organizational skills.
  • Communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Data Architecture - Collaborate with architects and engineers to define and implement data architectures that support the data center construction projects.
  • Data Compliance - Ensure compliance with relevant data regulations, privacy laws, and industry standards throughout the data center build process.
  • Data Documentation - Maintain documentation and metadata related to data assets, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for future reference. Develop and guide others' work on presentations of analyses, including dashboards, reports, data visualizations, self-service platforms, slides, and talking points that synthesize insights into a story that influences senior stakeholders' decision making and drives business outcomes.
  • Data Governance - Collaborate with data governance teams to implement and enforce data governance policies, ensuring compliance with data regulations and industry best practices.
  • Data Integration - Coordinate data integration activities with various systems and stakeholders, ensuring smooth data flows and interoperability.
  • Data Ownership - Take ownership and accountability for specific data assets related to data center construction projects. Applies expertise in data, business, and customer/client needs to determine optimal analytical tools and techniques, and leads others through the execution of analyses to resolve analytical challenges, interpret results within a business context, and address business questions with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Data Strategy and Planning - Develop and execute data strategies aligned with the project objectives, ensuring the availability and integrity of data during the construction phase.
  • Data Quality Assurance - Determine preferred factors and/or data types to include in the evaluation of business, product, and/or operational decisions that will provide the most relevant assessment of impact. Independently ensure that evaluations account for anticipated risks and applies learnings from previous evaluations. Establish and enforce data quality standards to ensure accurate and reliable data for decision-making and project execution.
  • Risk Management - Identify and manage data-related risks and issues, providing mitigation strategies to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Stakeholder Orchestration and Collaboration - Establishes and leverages working relationships within and across teams to ensure quality data sources, methodologies, and analytical tools and processes; driving their adoption to address business needs and deliver key insights and results. Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to understand data requirements and ensure seamless data management throughout the project lifecycle.
