Ever-increasing regulations require tax departments to gather, organize and analyse more data than ever before. Often the data necessary to satisfy these ever-increasing and complex regulations must be collected from a variety of systems and departments throughout an organization. Effectively and efficiently handling the variety and volume of data is often extremely challenging and time consuming for a company.
Responsibilities and Skills
Role Includes:
- Extraction and data cleanse from large datasets to ensure accurate billing information.
- Communicate effectively and obtain approvals from clients to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Receivable (AR) team and clients to ensure timely settlement of invoices and to highlight the necessary cases to the leadership
- Track and manage billing cycles and ensure everything is billed and invoices are settled within the agreed timeframe. Maintain Status Trackers to record progress of work
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to billing, invoicing, budgeting
- Assist with the document upload within internal EY Tools and to work and manage EY
Tools.
- Manual Testing of Schemas which includes Target Test, Checklist and Duplicate scenarios
- Application testing: Smoke, Sanity, Regression & Performance
- Identification of technical/functional Anomalies in the form of bugs/issues and raising in DevOps. Ensuring the bugs/issues are driven to closure
- Co-ordinating with various stakeholders like CT (PM, Development team, QA & Business Analyst), Schema Team & Operations team
- Conduit between the Client and CT to provide technical requirements of the product
- Maintain Status Trackers to record progress of work
- Draft Test Scenarios based on the User Stories acceptance criteria
- To provide solution for client queries on reporting requirements & application glitch
- Opportunity to work with multiple overseas EY teams across the world
Expected skill set:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a data analyst or equivalent project management role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong skills in data extraction and cleansing from large datasets
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and issue resolution
- Ability to work collaboratively and proactively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Experience of basic Manual testing (Preferable, but not mandatory)
- Basic Knowledge on Application testing: Smoke, Sanity, Regression & Performance (Preferable, but not mandatory)
Knowledge on MS Word & Excel
- Team player – ability to track project activities and react quickly/ flag issues to the team/ deal with overload
- Attention to detail, diligent approach to detailed work
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to work on different workstreams simultaneously and monitor the progress
- Self-starter with good time management skills
