Minimum qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in Finite Element Analysis.
- 3 years of experience with numerical methods/modeling, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools (e.g., Abaqus, Hypermesh) 3D CAD software, and experience with material testing, tensile testing, and strain-gauge instrumentation.
Preferred qualifications:
- PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in mechanics and structural analysis for consumer hardware.
- Experience with the development and integration of electro-mechanical components (e.g., display assemblies, batteries, antennas).
- Ability to communicate with cross-functional team members and other technical disciplines, and collaborate across organizations to achieve project goals.
