Job summary

As a Global Bank Administration within our Fund Services & business analysis team, you will focus on enhancing client experience through structured initiatives. You will have the opportunity to assimilate a large number of ideas, work with numbers and deadlines, and learn new products/processes. Your role will involve understanding the fundamental concepts related to Bank Loans, identifying issues, analyzing problems, and providing viable solutions. You will also be expected to maintain strong client focus and partner with various internal/external groups.

Job responsibilities

  • Understanding the fundamental concepts related to Bank Loans.
  • Prove ability to independently identify issues, analyze problems and provide viable solutions
  • Focus on client focus and ability to partner with various internal/external groups
  • Focus specifically on Fund Services & business analysis needs for Global Bank Loans Administration strategic initiatives.
  • Requires assimilating the large number of ideas generated at all levels (primarily by Middle Office, Product development) into a structured framework.
  • Requires right amount of rigor in documenting / governing initiatives is important to enable targeted decision making.

Required qualification, capabilities and skills :

  • Perform and review day to day operations of the Bank Loans team which includes trade capture, settlements, asset substantiation, cash and position reconciliations
  • Working with various upstream/downstream internal teams and external teams such as Corporate Actions, Custody, and Client facing teams including Agent Banks etc.
  • Understand Risk Management and should be able to manage issues and exceptions which are material in nature
  • Partner with technology strategy team to help identify internal and external facing technology improvement opportunities
  • Participate in all governance meetings to identify and track reasons for deviation from agreed levels or expected behavior (if any). Ensure follow ups and escalate for all ageing items.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant Investment Banking experience
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft office products (Excel, Word, Power point)
  • Proven skills in time management, organization, and attention to detail
