- 10 years of experience as a sales engineer in a cloud computing or Business-to-Business (B2B) software company in a customer-facing role, professional services, and sales engineering setting.
- Experience with storage technology (e.g., block storage, object storage, file storage).
- Experience with virtualization and networking technology (e.g., hypervisors, elastic compute, containerized infrastructure).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable and secure distributed systems.
- Experience with advanced areas of networking, including Linux, software-defined networking, network virtualization, open protocols, and application acceleration.
- Experience with Relational Databases, NoSQL Databases, and Big Data technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Postgres, Spark, Hadoop, other Open Source).
- Experience with load balancing, DNS, virtual private networks, and their application to PaaS and IaaS technologies.
- Experience with customer’s existing software workloads.
- Ability to define a technical migration roadmap to the cloud.
