The core function of the Compensation Services team is to gather, consolidate and provide information about an assignee's pay and benefits to create a central global repository of total compensation data. Such services include, but are not limited to:
- Collection and consolidation of compensation data for tax and social security compliance
- Shadow payroll reporting
- Total cost reporting and advisory based on engagement scope
- Interface with the EY Tax and engagement co-ordination teams.
Your key responsibilities
- Gain a strong understanding of the global mobility structure of the clients
- Responsible for final review and sign off of on compensation reports before sending to EY clients
- Demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of global compensation reporting requirements
- Act as a technical go to person for a large team
- Proactively communicate with foreign office teams on productivity and quality
- Monitor the quality and timeliness of team deliverables
- Work closely with the engagement team / user group to ensure delivery of work performed in the GTH
- Introduce process improvements and develop best practices
- Develop and improve quality metrics and team utilization
- Be the point of issue escalation and resolution for any service issues experienced by the client
- Manage team effectively to meet contractual agreements and key process indicators
- Conduct regular service reviews with client
- Manage transition of new work to the GDS
- Plan annual service delivery
- Coach, develop and train team members
- Anticipate and identify risks and escalate as appropriate
- Gain a strong understanding of the financials of engagement/s and contribute to improving profitability
- Work closely with the Senior Managers in driving overall GCS strategy

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Extensive payroll/Accounts payable experience is added advantage
- Knowledge of the global mobility environment

- Ability to work within tight deadlines in a pressurized environment that operates under contractual SLAs & KPIs with financial penalties
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience of running a global mobility engagement for a client, either in tax compliance, assignment services or global employment taxes
