Essential Functions:

  • Strategic Business Partner: Catalyst and facilitator for the translation of business strategies into people strategies. Add broad perspective and value as the expert people advisor and strategist.
  • HR Site Lead: lead and/or represent HR on key site councils and working groups. Ensure local policies are updated/maintained in accordance with legislative practices. Align the country HRBP team around local initiatives/activities.
  • Talent Advocate: enable/drive company talent processes while advocating for best people practices and outcomes.
  • Performance: See and clearly articulate the root cause of poor organization or team performance. Influence the thinking and actions of the Senior Management Team and their leaders.
  • HR Technical Expertise: Apply experience in a broad range of HR technical areas (talent management, total compensation, leadership bench strength, organization design, etc.) Design and implement HR solutions to achieve business success and enhance organizational capability. Leverage and align services across the HR system and external partners to ensure end-to-end HR service delivery.
  • ER/Investigation Expert: Conduct timely, objective and thorough investigations using the NetApp methodology and processes in response to employee related allegations, hotline reports and external agency claims to mitigate risk, address high-complexity complaints, and achieve effective resolutions. Prepare, complete, and timely documentation and reports of findings for all investigations with follow-through on all matters.
  • Jurisdictional Expertise: have detailed understanding of, and ability to explain local legislation, risk/nuances and application. Has practices and network in place to keep up to date.
Job Requirements
  • Ability to objectively coach management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues.
  • Strong Technical HR knowledge – philosophy, practice and application
  • Ability to build strong trusted working relationships and networks across all levels of the organization, including remote areas.
  • Strong hr/leader judgment that is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law and aligned with the organization.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Demonstrated strength in project and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Deep jurisdictional knowledge – must be able to think systemically and “see” ER issues in a larger context – cause and effect
  • Strong analytical skills: and a demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret information and identify trends.
  • Experience in responding to employee complaints; demonstrated ability to objectively coach managers and employees through complex, difficult and emotional issues to resolution.
  • Ability to build, maintain and leverage networks at all levels of an organisation
Education
  • Bachelor of Human Resource Mgmt., Social Science Psychology, or Law Degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible HRBP experience as an ER Specialist and/or HR Business Partner with significant experience handling ER issues.
  • Sound understanding of employment laws, country regulations requirements
