JOB DESCRIPTION

Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to develop, implement and maintain method and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Using your technical expertise, you will estimate manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. You will add value and expertise to the business by sustaining support by identifying cost reduction and yield improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain manufacturing processes to assure optimal operation
  • Create, modify and maintain Bill Of Materials (BOM) and labor (Routing) of products
  • Implement Engineering Changes on production environment
  • Work with NPI and Program Management to execute NPI milestones
  • Coordinate pilot runs and validations
  • Document process changes in SOS/Visual aids
  • Quote and procure equipment needed for production cells
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency by using lean /six sigma tools and methodologies
  • Lead Failure Analysis and execute corrective actions
  • Participate in KPI revisions and lead improvement activities
  • Lead Gemba and Kaizen activities / events
  • Document continuous improvement ideas/changes
  • Promote 5S in production areas
  • Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences,
  • 3-5 years Experience in line transfers
  • 3 years of experience in machining centers and preventive maintenance of them
  • Experience in programming machines.
  • Advanced English Level
  • Availability to travel
  • Passport and Visa available
  • Knowledge developing PFMEAs and PPAPs, visual aids and work instructions.
  • Availability to work in 2nd shift.
