• We are looking for an experienced Software Developer Engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions under micro services and cloud environment for Nokia Core. Ideal candidate needs to have previous experience in backend & frontend development and should possess a strong understanding of how best to leverage and exploit μService's based solutions. Continuously improve your technical and soft skills following a concrete career plan with the support of your direct supervisor and technical experts of your group.

• Designs and owns the subsystem level architecture.
• Involves in prototyping and testing system design.
• Expert in the dedicated area within specific design of the subsystem.
• Aligns with developers and other product architects to ensure the deliverable is in line with the specific requirements.
• Researches, designs, plans, develops and / or evaluates new advanced network technologies by translating customer requirements or strategic business objectives into final product design.
• Work typically includes in-depth assessment of the customer's networked application needs, providing network modelling and simulation testing, consulting to further clarify needs, and engineering high-speed technology network transports to deliver application functionality.
• Designs, defines and implements integrated hardware / software systems requirements for customers and / or prepares studies and analyses existing systems.
• Determines system specifications, input / output processes and working parameters for hardware / software compatibility.
• Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system.
• Identifies, analyses and resolves program support deficiencies.
• Develops and recommends corrective actions.
• Works effectively in a mixed environment and uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
• Has in-depth business knowledge and uses understanding of how relevant areas integrate to achieve objectives.
• Uses advanced analytical skills to solve complex problems or problems that do not have routine solutions and takes a new perspective.
• Shares initial ideas for professional direction of own organizational unit.
• Acts as a professional advisor and mentor for staff / work team / taskforces.
• May lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements or small teams, handles day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work.
  

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Candidates with Bachelor´s in CS, EE, will be more relevant. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience in Large Product-Based Projects
• You have a working experience of at least 8+ years in Software Engineering preferably utilizing Object Oriented Programming.
• Responsible for Requirement analysis, Feature design based on cloud native principles and leading development of Microservices
• Ownership of SW Architecture at System component level
• Hands-on knowledge on a broad array of cloud native technologies and operability concepts. Ability to comprehend complex technical problems and create pragmatic solutions.
• High proficiency in Coding languages and development practices.
• Expert Programmer using Go / Java / C++ and related Tools in Linux environment
• Expert in Design and Development using Cloud Native Principles with strong Analytical and Debugging skills
• Hands-on Experience with Cloud Native, Microservices, Containers and Virtualization Technologies like Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), CaaS, Helm, Envoy, Databases, gRPC, Open Source Integration, FOSS, Operability and Serviceability Domain, CI/CD, DevOps, etc.
• Work independently, deploying, testing and troubleshooting Cloud native application
• Leading the end to end development of Features
• Willing to work in lean and extremely agile environment / start-up work culture to achieve stiff and challenging targets
• Team player with proven ability to work in diverse team environment
• Experience in cross-team technical interface management.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide array of stakeholders and technical experts throughout the company and outside partners
• Interface to key customers to explain design approaches and solution element
• Ability to manage customer escalations caused by outage or product defects
• Track record of creating high quality work and delivering results on time.
