you will be a key part of our Strategic Communications team helping to develop, enhance and protect EY Oceania’s corporate reputation. You will manage the advocacy, stakeholder relations, communications, and media engagement on behalf of EY Oceania supporting the Head of Corporate Affairs to shape and deliver positive media coverage, with a consistent narrative.
When informing strategy proactively, or responding to issues reactively, you will need to build and maintain engagement with relevant stakeholders across media, as well as professional and industry associations. You will work closely with EY Oceania’s economics team to build and support its media engagements.
You will be responsible for driving our strategic approach to issues or matters with the potential to impact the firm’s reputation, or the profession more broadly. This will involve connecting with relevant stakeholders and leveraging skillsets whilst managing interdependencies across several functions such as Public Policy, General Counsel, Risk and Quality, Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC), Government Relations, the Executive Leadership Team and various Area and Global EY functions.
