Software (SWA) comprises the definition, specification, and allocation of requirements from different sources utilising knowledge of systems engineering processes (specification & architecture). Contains processing of use case and feature requirements into conceptual models, operational scenarios, technical requirements, and functional description. Covers specification, design, implementation, and unit testing of Software (e.g. device drivers, microcode, hardware-related software & firmware) according to the requirements and architecture defined in the systems engineering process. Covers establishment and maintenance of Software Configuration Management (SCM) practices into software development projects, continuously building and integrating infrastructure tools and systems.
The team you’ll be part of
The Mobile Networks Business Unit has an opportunity for an Engineer to support the definition of the security architecture and maintain requirements for our Mobile network products and features management systems. This role requires someone who has a deep understanding about the methods and performance requirements for distribution of time/phase and frequency in base stations.
As software designer , you will join the Baseband & Soc platform team. The team is in charge to develop middleware for new products and features on Baseband platform provided by Nokia for all wireless technologies, including 5G, 5G-advanced & 6G.

What you will learn and contribute to
Your skills and experience
• M.S. in Telecommunications/Electrical Engineering/Computer Science/ or related field and 8+ years of experience in design, and/or development.
• Development using C/C++ , python, shell scripts.
• Knowledge using Linux and real time software
• Knowledge of IP protocols (mac /VLAN/IP V4/IP V6/UDP/TCP/FTP/DHCP/…)
Deeper knowledge within one of these domains will be greatly appreciated:
• Ethernet switches configuration
• Knowledge in Hardware processor and devices (switches, soc, FPGA)
• knowledge of the SIMICS Simulation tool and its associated DML Language is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
• Solid communication skills, both technical and non-technical
• Capacity and interest to learn new technical areas and products.
