This role requires the individual:

To co-create future state sustainable Global Process Owner (GPO) led EY GDS delivery model for Global Statutory Reporting business and deliver services in a cost-effective manner using technology leading to consistent delivery.

  • Deploy the model across 40+ countries and ensure that there is a centralized and consistent way of delivery services to our clients.
  • Drive change management across member firms in adoption of global processes and that of EY GDS.
  • Stakeholder management – Relationship building and fostering trust with Senior partners across the globe and a proven record of demonstrating this in a large organization.
  • Enhanced communication and collaboration - Open communication and the ability to balance differences, eliminating silos, and expertise to brainstorm solutions in a diverse, transparent way.
  • Change Management –
    • Manage change effectively and embrace diversity to thrive in rapidly evolving business landscape.
    • Ensure that organizational initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing adoption and usage.
    • Focus on people side of change, which involves preparing, supporting, and equipping people to adopt and use changes to business processes, systems, and technology.
    • Educate the Country teams that these improvements increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI, and the achievement of results and outcomes.
    • Plans and efforts to anticipate and minimize resistant behaviors from Country teams and stakeholders who are impacted by the changes.
    • Create actionable deliverables for any required "Extended" plans, such as the Resistance Management Plan


Essential Functions of the job:

  • He/she plays a key role in driving the development and implementation of new processes, systems, and structures to help EY/EY GDS achieve its strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with local EY member teams to deploy the future state delivery models.
  • Creation of program deployment plans and executing the same.
  • Leadership experience in organizing, planning, and executing the firm’s vision from conceptualization through implementation across multiple geographies.
  • Create and deploy technology roadmap to prepare deliverables for our clients.
  • Communicating with EY member firm, including senior management, employees, and customers, to gain support for the change initiative.
  • Providing coaching and mentoring to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Continuously monitoring the progress of the change initiative and adjusting as needed to ensure that desired outcomes are met.
  • Actively work with GDS GCR Leader and internal team members in identifying and implementing the process standardization, simplification and automation opportunities, and act as a mentor/support for the GDS teams.
  • Develop and manage change management strategies and knowledge of organizational change management principles, approaches, and tools.
  • Enable the design, development, delivery, and management of key communications.
  • Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs.


Analytical/Decision making Responsibilities:

  • This position will have a pivotal role in standardizing processes and implementing these centrally.
  • The individual will identify and assess the need for automation to enhance efficiencies and drive implementation of automation initiatives by bringing in new technology to enhance efficiencies and increase margins.
  • Candidate should have a good understanding of process, technology, and business along with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • The role will demand specialized knowledge and expertise in complex project management with a proven capability to lead and manage a fast-growing practice. The role will also require strong proficiency in business consulting and business strategy, as well as influencing and negotiating skills.
  • The ability to lead and develop a high performing team will be imperative in this role given the growth expected.


Education and Experience:

  • Graduate – Engineering or Commerce.
  • Post-Graduation - Master of Business Administration (MBA) – Preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years overall experience especially in a partnership environment.
  • PMP/CSM certification.
  • Understanding of Statutory Reporting concepts, finance, and accounting.
  • Deep understanding of technology will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in software development will be an added advantage.
