Regulatory Reporting team within Finance is responsible for preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly returns to Central Banks and other policymakers. The reporting requirements are spread across Financial, Statistical, and Prudential regimes.
The Finance Reporting Lead Analyst is senior professional position responsible for the oversight of reports to the Prudential Regulation Authority (“PRA”), and the daily monitoring of Capital Adequacy in accordance with the Capital Requirements Regulation (“CRR”), in coordination with the broader Financial Reporting Team.
In this position you will use and expand your experience and professional skills for the following responsibilities:
Monitor and report of Daily Capital Adequacy for the UK Broker Dealer, Citigroup Global Markets Limited (“CGML”).
Oversight over UK Prudential returns including Common Reporting (“COREP”) for CGML, with primary focus on Credit Risk.
Assist with the implementation of relevant internal policies and procedures.
Ensure and enhance control framework implementation and monitoring.
Extensive involvement and acting as a subject matter expert (“SME”) in relation to rules compliance to ensure COREP reporting is accurate and in accordance with the CRR and relevant Implementing Technical Standards, (“ITS”).
Involvement in second- and third-line review and challenge exercises.
Take part in the annual Internal Model Method (“IMM”) Self-Assessment process and related reporting.
Review and implementation of appropriate new rules, guidelines and reporting instructions.
The ideal candidate for this position preferably possesses the following qualifications and skills:
University/College degree in finance/accounting.
7+ years of work experience in financial, regulatory or risk reporting / auditing roles.
Detailed knowledge of CRR and relevant RTS/ITS.
Good understanding of Accounting & Finance principles and Financial Markets and products/Regulatory Reporting requirements.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills In English.
Excellent analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
Proven organizational and time management skills.
