Responsibilities:
- Team management: Lead a small team, and provide direction and mentorship as required.
- Estimate Strategy: Establish the overall strategy and methodology for the progressive and collaborative development of a Target Price cost estimate, ensuring the estimating approach is aligned with industry standards, organizational requirements, and best practices.
- Oversee Estimate Development: Oversee and lead the joint estimation process to develop an accurate cost estimate for the project, ensuring estimates align with the scope, schedule, and design.
- Contractor Negotiation: Be able to lead/participate negotiations on behalf of the client for work plans, task orders and/or guaranteed maximum price/lump sum total contract pricing.
- Relationship Management: Maintaining strong relationships with the Project stakeholders to ensure consistent quality and compliance throughout the joint estimation process.
- Contract Management: Reviewing contracts, change orders, and submittals to ensure all provided estimates align with project requirements.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with design and construction teams, scheduling and risk teams, independent estimators, independent value assessors and other critical stakeholders to ensure estimates accurately reflect the scope and complexities of the project.
