We are seeking a
Senior Electrical Instrumentations and Controls Engineerto join our Intelligent Systems team in Melbourne. As an experienced EI&C engineer, you will apply standards and a best practice approach to the delivery of EI&C projects. You will
- Prepare and support project lifecycle documents including proposals, concept designs, detailed designs, and operations and maintenance documents.
- Provide technical input and expertise on a variety of infrastructure projects.
- Undertake assigned tasks independently within agreed timeframe and quality and provide.
- May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives.
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience, both on projects and as part of the Jacobs team.
- Be accountable.
- Your experience allows you to developed design artifacts with limited supervision and support larger EI&C programs of work.
- Understands the Jacobs quality system and follows it on a day-to-day basis.
- Have experience developing EI&C designs in major Infrastructure environments and using this experience in water, power and renewable sectors, plus other sectors as directed.
- Relevant Tertiary Degree and robust knowledge of relevant Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls standards and design arrangements.
- Able to supervise and undertake designs for Electrical Control, Industrial Communications and SCADA systems projects.
- Experience in one or more of the following major infrastructure sectors of Water, Power, Renewables, Rail and Resources sector.
- Experience leading teams developing EI&C designs.
- Experience in development of proposals for complex infrastructure clients desirable.
- Experience in Operational Technology (OT) and Internet of Things (IoT) desirable.
- Demonstrate eligibility to be a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia.
