The IT Project Manager provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility. Provides operational/service leadership and direction to team(s). Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services. May contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Generally has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets. Work affects an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Full supervisory responsibility, ensuring motivation and development of team through professional leadership to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
Oversees all technology components of diverse, moderately complex IT projects, including project planning, execution, timing, functionality.
Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to staff to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met.
Communicates with end-users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates.
Manages all technical Production releases for several applications
End to end management in planning and tracking release progress
Communicates regularly with technology and business areas
Drives improvements using tools such as Jira
Contributes to formulation of strategies for IT project leadership and other functional areas.
Applies in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues that have impact beyond own area.
Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how areas of IT project leadership collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals.
Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations.
Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards.
Persuades and influences others through communication and diplomacy skills; may negotiate with external parties.
Implementing automated health checks, alerts.
Release management - Ensure release is managed with strong controls, documentation, approval and keep up to date with regulatory reporting
Release Management: The candidate is expected to co-ordinate with multiple parties like, vendor, Implementation Partner, Partner systems, Citi Technology Infrastructure team for the release management function.
Qualifications:
Significant experience designing , building Trading, Banking, Financial solutions. Experience in Oracle Financials ERP, EPM will be a great advantage
Experience of designing security access and entitlements will be a great advantage
Excellent communication and Individual leadership skills
Problem-solving and analytics skills
Demonstrated interpersonal and collaborative skills
Good technical knowledge in Java, Oracle
Proficiency in usage of JIRA, and MS tools
Full SDLC lifecycle experience
Project Management skills will be a bonus
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
