What you'll be doing:
Developing, implementing, benchmarking, and accelerating multimodal models in the field of digital biology, drug discovery, virtual cell, and virtual patient
Developing large-scale training and inference methods for foundation models in the field
Publishing original research and releasing open source software
Collaborating with external research leaders in the field of digital biology
Collaborating with research and engineering teams across all of NVIDIA to transfer research to products and services.
Mentoring emerging researchers
What we need to see:
Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Computational Biology, Computer Science, Computational Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
5+ years of relevant experience with hands-on training and evaluation of models in digital biology
Publication record in the computational biology domain
Excellent skills in working with large-scale machine learning/AI systems and compute infrastructure.
Proficiency in modern machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, Warp
Ability to learn from and teach others to keep up to speed on the latest developments and tools in the field.
Ability to work together in a tight-knit team environment.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience developing novel methods in machine learning
Strong engineering skills
Background in open source development
