As a Construction Environmental Health Safety Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Knowledge and skills related to EHS data management and entering and using EHS system to record, compile, evaluate and share results and improvement opportunities.Manage key program(s) and field executions for construction EHS, including documentation, training, record keeping, compliance assurance, reporting and continuous improvement.Conduct EHS assessments such as working at heights, Control of Hazardous Energy (COHE), personal protective equipment (PPE), heavy equipment, electrical safety, forklift safety and other relevant assessments.Conduct and review audits of applicable EHS programs and develop recommendations and plans for improvement to ensure compliance with Intel standards as well as federal, state and local laws and regulations.Analyze, evaluate and provide management with solid EHS guidance.Review and update Intel EHS Construction standards, evaluate and communicate changes, interpret and answer questions related to Intel standards and EHS regulations.Provide strategic EHS direction and leadership to project management team. Use EHS data management systems to evaluate and communicate key indicators in order to continuously improve EHS metrics. Synthesize and report technical EHS requirements in an accurate, clear and streamlines manner.Lead and influence teamMinimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.Minimum Qualifications:Candidate must have one of the followings:A degree or diploma in safety, industrial hygiene, or environmental engineering major with at least 7 years in construction safety Or , a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction EHS.Candidates who hold a safety professional certification such as CSP, CRSP, NEBOSH or Greenbook are preferred.Must be knowledgeable with applicable regulations including Malaysia OSH, OSHA and other applicable regulatory requirements.Office tools (Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint).Sound engineering principles and technical problem solving.The successful candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:Presentation and communication skills.Skills to communicate with all levels of management and individuals of diverse disciplines and cultural background.We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry.
